Tour of the old PRR swanky Main Line district west of Philadelphia to Paoli. 2021-2026

The ex-PRR Main Line district west of Philadelphia passes thru swanky towns and sees heavy Septa and Amtrak action. We tour the line visiting several stations from Overbrook to Paoli. We visit Overbrook, Wynnewood, Ardmore (pre and post renovation), Haverford, Bryn Mawr, Rosemont, Wayne, Berwyn, and Paoli. You will see many Septa and Amtrak trains passing the historic stations on the line. The weather was gorgeous on most days. The newest footage seen was shot 10/7 at Haverford, Rosemont, Wayne, Berwyn, and Paoli. This historic line which was known for the Paoli Local is still a busy 4 track railroad serving the wealthy communities west of Philadelphia. We conclude the video with highlights of riding Amtrak train #658 from Paoli back to NYC. Some lighthearted encounters with Engineer Bill are seen along with my never ending love for the SV4’s 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣.
