Old Friends Blog Visit 27 Secretariat Descendants pt. 2

Part 2 of Old Friends' Secretariat Descendants covers the horses on the front of the farm, the main tour route with the Georgetown, Ky facility's most popular horses. Some of these descendants of Secretariat were notable racehorses in their own right, some were hard workers to deserve a secure retirement just as much, and one's a movie star. Featured: Afternoon Deelites, River Squall, Popcorn Deelites (who played Seabiscuit in the 2003 film), Breeders' Cup Turf Sprint winner Stormy Liberal, Patch, Nobiz Like Shobiz, Smooth Air, Sun King, Green Mask, Breeders' Cup Marathon winner Eldaafer, and Mystery Trip, daughter of Weekend Surprise. Old Friends is a 501(c)(3) charity providing lifetime retirement to Thoroughbreds who have outlived their ability to earn. oldfriendsequine.org This video is a supplement to the Old Friends Blog, oldfriendsblog.wordpress.com
