Kunming had more adventures for us as we further dive into our exploration of this dream like city.

Day 2 in Yunnan (Kunming) and our hearts are completely full.We spent the entire day at the Stone Forest, and honestly… nothing could have prepared us for how breathtaking it was. Towering limestone pillars rising like ancient stone skyscrapers, winding paths that twist between them, and views that somehow kept getting better with every step. The weather was absolutely perfect clear skies, soft sunlight, and that gentle breeze that makes you want to keep walking forever.We started on the main trails like most visitors, but pretty soon we felt the pull to wander off the tourist path. Following quiet side routes and less-marked tracks led us to some truly special hidden gems peaceful corners where the crowds disappeared, the stones felt even more dramatic, and it was just us, the forest, and pure silence. Those unexpected moments of discovery turned a beautiful day into an unforgettable one.
