Gemini ♊ Castor & Pollox! Spectacular Wandering Straight Pour with Sparkling Rainbow Cells

Acrylic Pour Painting Wandering Straight Pour Mina Villegas Art Gemini ♊ Castor & Pollox Abstract Fluid Art Hello Friends! We are starting a new series today, Constellations of the Zodiac ♊♉♏♈♒♓♍♋♌♎⛎♑ Today we have twin pours, Gemini ♊ Castor & Pollox Their mother was Leda, Queen of Sparta. One day she was relaxing by a lake and captured the attention of Zeus.. who turned himself into a Swan and seduced Leda. So Leda carried two babies, Castor, the mortal son of Tyndareus, The King of Sparta; and Pollox, the immortal son of Zeus. The two brothers were very close, and shared many adventures. They were patrons of horseman and sailors, providing shelter and fair winds to the sailors. The we're good at everything they did, and they dearly loved each other as brothers. On one of their adventures, Castor is wounded, and being a mortal, he dies. Pollox is so overcome with grief that he begs Zeus to let him share his immortality with his brother, and in a moment of compassion, Zeus agrees. He placed them in the Heavens next to each other, two stick figures standing side by side, giving us the Constellation Gemini, the Twins ♊ It is said he allowed them to live half the year in the Underworld, and half on Olympus with the other Gods, allowing them to always be together. My Colors are: Colors Golden's Permanent Maroon Iridescent Pearl Prussian Blue DecoArt Americana Decor Metallics 24K Gold Artist's Loft Flow Acrylic Black Pouring Medium Liquitex Gloss Medium & Varnish Paint + a bit of Water Floetrol I did wandering straight pours on both of these, on a black basecoat. In the second pour the basecoat is the drips, my Table Mixins, from the first pour. I did these shortly after Space Feathers, and they have that same look, but warmer became of the Permanent Maroon.
