I Rucked 30lbs Up Grandfather Mountain NC (Huge Mistake)

Testing my mental limits and physical conditioning as I begin my journey to transition from a hiker to an alpine winter mountaineering athlete. My ultimate goal is a winter summit of Mount Washington and Mount Rainier, but living in North Carolina means I have to weaponize the roughest local terrain to build my engine. In this video, I loaded 30 lbs of water weight into a frameless tactical backpack and threw it straight at the most dangerous, rugged ridge crest in the Southeast: the Grandfather Mountain Trail to Calloway Peak.
