Mint Juleps & Darts - Saturday Live 1st February 1986

Saturday Live was hosted by Lenny Henry. This clip features Mint Juleps singing a Neil Young song, 'Only Love Can Break Your Heart' which I believe was their first single released on Stiff Records. It spent 4 weeks in the charts during March 1986 reaching a peak of number 62. The show finale featured Mint Juleps, Darts (Griff Fender and Rita Ray were managing the Mint Juleps at the time), with Henry adding some vocals to an excellent Sam Cooke medley. Darts' base singer Kenny Andrews had already left the group by this stage and various band members were also embarking on other projects.
