EP Desk, Pasighat,August 29, 2026: The Talent Round of Miss LU:NE 2026 witnessed 19 contestants showcasing their talents, confidence and individuality, with the event highlighting the importance of personality and performance alongside appearance. Speaking on the occasion, Tabung Ering said that beauty pageants such as Miss LU:NE provide a valuable platform for young women to showcase their abilities and gain confidence. He noted that several talented individuals from such platforms have gone on to perform at the Miss Arunachal level, citing Tokmem Mengu and Anchali Peyang as examples. He also encouraged parents to support and motivate their children to participate in such platforms rather than holding them back. According to him, opportunities like these can help young people discover their potential, build confidence and move forward to bigger platforms. “Face is always a factor, but talent is equally important. Your personality will speak through your performance, confidence and the way you present yourself,” he said, stressing that a successful contestant should possess not only good looks but also talent, personality, confidence and the ability to perform. He further described the initiative as a positive platform for nurturing young talent and encouraged greater participation and support from families and society. The Talent Round featured 19 contestants, each bringing their own skills and creativity to the stage, making the event a celebration of talent, confidence and individuality.
