The Anatomy of the Church | Our Authority in Christ | Sunday Sermon

In this message, we explore a powerful biblical truth: Christ is the Head of the Church, and we are His Body. Many believers understand that Jesus has all authority, but what does that mean for us today? If Christ is the Head and we are His Body, how does He carry out His work on the earth? Why did Jesus say that those who believe in Him would do the same works that He did? And what role do we play in God's plan? Using the analogy of the human body, we examine how the Head communicates with the Body, how authority flows from Christ to believers, and why God's will often requires human participation. In this teaching, we cover: • Our identity in Christ and what it means to be the Body of Christ • Why authority comes with responsibility • How God's will often requires human participation • The importance of understanding the instructions of the Head • Spiritual paralysis: what happens when the Body stops responding • Why Christ has already qualified us for the work He has called us to do • How believers can walk in delegated authority Key Scriptures: Ephesians 1:22-23 Ephesians 2:6 John 14:12 Matthew 28:18-20 Acts 9:4-5 1 Corinthians 12:27 Galatians 2:20 1 Timothy 2:3-4 Romans 10:13-14 Acts 10:1-6 Colossians 1:12-13 Colossians 2:13-15 If this message encourages you, please like, share, and subscribe to help us reach more people with the Gospel.
