Khidasheli | House DJ Set | Zoo | Tbilisi

Some places like ზოოპარკი in Tbilisi don’t need to be rediscovered. They just need to be looked at differently. For this one, we went to the Zoo, beside its old carousels. Opened in 1927, it has watched the city change around it for almost a century. The place still carries bits of those different Tbilisis: old enclosures, worn paths, amusement rides and the everyday noise of the city, all sitting in the same frame. The carousels kept turning while Nodo Khidasheli played. Eight years behind the decks have shaped a style built around warm, rhythmic selections, careful transitions and a gradual rise in energy.
