ECRL FREIGHT LOCOMOTIVE ⚡ 7,200 kW of POWER!

EL001 is an HXD3CA-type Co-Co electric locomotive powered by 25 kV AC, 50 Hz overhead electrification, with approximately 7,200 kW (9,700 hp) of traction power, six powered axles, and a starting tractive effort of up to around 570 kN. The locomotive is approximately 22.8 metres long, with an axle load of around 23 tonnes, and a platform speed of about 120 km/h, while ECRL freight operations are expected to operate at lower speeds. Its main role is freight hauling, including containers and bulk/general cargo, as well as train positioning and shunting of freight wagons, engineering vehicles and other rolling stock within ECRL yards and maintenance facilities. #exploringwalk
