TRIP REPORT | Air France [Economy Class] Airbus A220-300 | BLQ-CDG | AF1429

Air France took delivery of its first A220 in October 2021, and now operates over 30 of them. Join me as I fly on one of them from Bologna to Paris in Economy Class. Overall, despite a delay of over an hour, the experience was good! The seats were quite comfortable and featured headrests, and the USB ports were a nice touch, too. Apparently there is also WiFi on board Air France's A220s, and while I didn't try it out, I find it nice that messaging is free for all passengers. The crew was quite proactive as well, and just like its partner KLM, Air France serves complimentary snacks and drinks on its short-haul flights. I found it particularly interesting that hot chocolate was available - after all, what other European airlines serve it for free in Economy on their short-haul flights? All things considered, Air France might be one of the better choices for intra-European travel, at least in Economy Class.
