“Ridgelines” live // Sparrow Smith & the Resonant Rogues

“Ridgelines” by Sparrow Smith and the Resonant Rogues live at Out There Studios in Shelton Laurel, North Carolina. This is where we recorded the Carolina Mountains LP. It’s was sprinkling but still warm and super pleasant on this classic Appalachian afternoon in Western North Carolina. This song is my wish list for a homestead, written right before we found our slice of Madison County heaven. We bought raw land 5 years ago, no driveway, electric, septic, nothing- just a vision and a drive. Now we’re living our dream in a house we built with our own hands. Banjo, vocals, songwriter: Sparrow Smith Guitar, harmonies: Keith Josiah Smith Fiddle: Kristen Harris Bass, harmonies: Ian Wade Video by Hunter Rentz Recording by Luke Mitchell (Out There Studio) Mixed by Julian Dreyer
