The DARK TRUTH About The Heenan Family

Bobby “The Brain” Heenan led the most feared stable in WWF history, but what really happened behind the curtain? In this Dark Truth breakdown, we go inside The Heenan Family: the alliances, the betrayals, and the untold stories that wrestling fans were never supposed to see. Bobby Heenan built a legacy as the ultimate heel manager. He guided Andre the Giant, Big John Studd, King Kong Bundy, Paul Orndorff, Hercules, Rick Rude, Curt Hennig (Mr. Perfect), Haku, and The Brooklyn Brawler through some of the biggest moments of the 1980s and early 1990s. We look at how Heenan’s mind games, his loyalty, and his legendary mouth shaped WWF, AWA, and WCW history. We cover the Andre the Giant vs. Hulk Hogan WrestleMania III main event, Heenan’s feud with Hulk Hogan, Randy “Macho Man” Savage, Ultimate Warrior, and Jake “The Snake” Roberts, and his famous run alongside Gorilla Monsoon and Jesse “The Body” Ventura on commentary. We also revisit his AWA days with Nick Bockwinkel, Ric Flair, and Harley Race, his time as part of the Four Horsemen era with Arn Anderson, Tully Blanchard, and Ole Anderson, and his years as a WCW announcer alongside Tony Schiavone, Mean Gene Okerlund, and Jim Ross.
