My First Solo Photography Exhibit (Pt 3): Preparing 25 Prints for Framing

This video is the third in a series of videos I'm doing as I prepare for my first solo photography exhibit. Is there anything better than seeing your photos in the real world? Tangible, timeless, touchable, and...tastable? I ran out of "t" words. Ink on paper. That's all it is. And yet it's somehow so much more. Who was it that said "the whole is greater than the sum of its parts"? Lincoln? Anyway...the dude was right. Sure it may just be pigments spat out by a big robot onto some tree fibers, but in my heart it feels like pure magic spat out by a big fat angel from up above onto...well, some tree fibers. This is why I take pictures, folks. I never could have been a writer. Words hurt brain. In this video I'm preparing (21 of the) 25 prints I'm making for my first solo photography exhibit. I got a range of sizes here with the biggest measuring 14x42 inches and the smallest coming in at an adorable 7x7 inches. All are inkjet pigment prints on Hahnemuhle Photo Rag paper. I got one more coming that's an 18x54-inch c-print on Fuji Crystal Archive Pearl paper, but it wasn't ready for this video. We'll talk more about that one next time. Things are really coming together for this show. It won't be long before I have 25 framed prints that I have to figure out where to store until the exhibit starts in September. I can't wait!
