Jesus Never Said Life Would Be Easy | Things Jesus Never Said

What happens when you follow Jesus, but life still hurts? Jesus never promised us a pain-free life. In fact, He said the opposite: “In this world you will have trouble.” But He didn’t stop there. He also said, “Take heart! I have overcome the world.” — John 16:33 In this message from our Things Jesus Never Said series, Pastor Scott explores what Jesus actually taught about hardship, disappointment, and difficult seasons. We’ll discover how trouble can: • Prove and reveal the genuineness of our faith • Prepare us for a greater purpose • Strengthen our trust in Jesus • Remind us that our peace isn’t found in our circumstances, but in Christ Following Jesus doesn’t mean everything will go the way we want. The good news isn’t that Jesus promises to deliver us from every painful circumstance—the good news is that Jesus delivers us from sin and gives us His presence and peace in the middle of the trouble. “In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” — John 16:33 📍 Refinery Church | Edmonton, Alberta Learn more about Refinery Church: refinerychurch.ca #RefineryChurch #ThingsJesusNeverSaid #Jesus #Faith #Christianity #John1633 #ChristianSermon
