This morning I was finally leaving Samarkand for Afghanistan … Had some work done then took the road south However, the sun was going down, so I saved the cost of a hotel night by wild camping near the border. The day after, my tent quickly became an oven after the first sun light. So I had to leave. Had to kill the time untill 6h when they deliver the visas so went to eat After finishing with the ouzbek customs I was finally in Afghanistan, crossing the same bridge the soviet union crossed nearly 50 years ago And after a couple of hours.
