🌴 A Surprise Breakfast Date at Koluse | Chikli’s New South Indian Gem ❤️ The very next day after landing, my husband had a surprise waiting for me — and this time, it was a breakfast surprise! ❤️ After all the travelling, it was the perfect way to start the day. We headed to Chikli, and our destination was a newly opened South Indian restaurant called Koluse. And honestly, from the moment we entered, I knew this was going to be more than just breakfast. The ambience is absolutely mesmerising! ✨ Even before you settle down, there are so many little details that catch your attention. The fragrance at the entrance immediately sets the mood, followed by soothing traditional music that makes the whole experience feel calm and inviting. Then there is this beautiful little water pond decorated with diyas — such a lovely touch! 🪔 I genuinely felt that every corner had something worth noticing. The chandelier, the natural lighting, the thoughtful ventilation with the fans, the interiors… everything seemed carefully planned. And something else that really impressed me — the kitchen looked absolutely pristine. As someone who really notices cleanliness when dining out, that definitely added to the experience. Now, coming to the food… because that's why we were really there! 😋 I started with idli and vada, and both were delicious. Then Renish was kind enough to let me taste some of his Katla curry and appam — and I have to say, the combination was fantastic! I also got to taste the podi dosa from our friend's order, and once again, it did not disappoint. Every single dish we tried stood out in its own way. What I loved most was that it wasn't just about the food. It was the entire experience — the ambience, the aroma, the music, the presentation, the attention to detail and, of course, the company. Overall, this was such a wonderful breakfast experience, and I would definitely recommend giving Koluse a try if you're passing through Chikli. And if you're anything like us — people who sometimes actually plan outings around discovering good food — then definitely put this place on your list! 😄 Go for it! You might just discover your next favourite breakfast spot.
