Kruunuvuori Bridge, Finland’s longest and tallest bridge, opened to the public on April 18, 2026. The bridge is primarily constructed for the Crown Bridges Light Rail, which will later connect the island of Laajasalo to the Helsinki city centre. The southern side of the 1.2-kilometre bridge varies in width and is reserved exclusively for pedestrians and cyclists, with seating areas that offer views of the archipelago previously out of reach. The new cycleway forms an integral part of Helsinki’s network of high-standard Baana cycle routes. The video features a 2.3-kilometre section from the residential area of Kruunuvuorenranta to the entrance of Korkeasaari Zoo. 00:00-00:18 Intro 00:19-01:33 Koirasaarentie / Hundholmsvägen 01:34-05:31 Kruunuvuorensilta / Kronbergsbron / Kruunuvuori Bridge 05:32-07:01 Mieritzinranta / Mieritzstranden / Korkeasaari Zoo 07:02-07:27 Outro Kruunuvuorensilta / Kronbergsbron / Kruunuvuori Bridge Helsinki / Helsingfors, Suomi / Finland 60°10'27.3"N 25°00'06.7"E 04/2026 Message @hereinhelsinki on social channels Email hereinhelsinki@gmail.com © Here in Helsinki 2026
