This recipe is going back to my roots of living just about an hour away from Ohio's Amish Country. There is nothing like a good old fashioned Amish meal and this fruit slush is a staple recipe. It's served in many Amish restaurants.
One of the best things about this recipe is how easy it is to customize it to you and your family's preferences.
So I hope you take the time to make this for your family. You can screenshot the recipe at the end if you like. Don't forget to like, comment, and subscribe.

Ingredients
6 ounces frozen orange juice concentrate, thawed
3 cups water
3/4 cup sugar
1 20oz can crushed pineapple with juice
4 bananas, sliced
4 cups strawberries, sliced
2 cups blueberries, sliced
4 fresh peaches, peeled and chopped
You can completely customize this to the fruits that you and your family love
Directions
Mix orange juice concentrate, water, and sugar in a large bowl. Stir until sugar is dissolved.
Add a can of crushed pineapple, juice and all. Stir.
Add fruit, I use peaches, bananas, and strawberries. Stir to mix.
Place the mixture into a large (gallon-sized) freezer container or smaller containers according to preference. I use smaller containers when freezing so that I will not have to refreeze the slush if we do not eat it all. You can refreeze but the fruit will darken and not be as visually appealing. Leave a bit of headspace for expansion. Also make sure you put plenty of juice in each container, as the juice is one of the best parts.
Freeze until solid. I freeze mine overnight.
Remove from the freezer several hours before serving so that it's partially thawed to a slushy like consistency. Thaw in the refrigerator for best results. It usually takes mine 3 to 4 hours to reach the consistency that I prefer.
