The Glory of God’s Grace Revealed Through Redemption | Ephesians 1:3–14

As we continue our series “Building a Loving Community in Christ,” we explore the glorious grace of God revealed through redemption. Paul's words in Ephesians 1:3–14 overflow with praise as he describes the spiritual blessings we have received in Christ. Even while Paul was imprisoned, he could praise God for his grace, redemption, forgiveness and the wonderful plan God is working out through Christ. In this message, we consider what it means to be: Saved by grace — God's undeserved favour, not something we can earn Redeemed through Christ — Jesus has paid the price to set us free Forgiven — our sins are removed and remembered no more Given an inheritance — we have a secure hope in Christ Sealed with the Holy Spirit — God's Spirit is the guarantee of our inheritance Part of God's master plan — God is working towards the day when all things will be brought together in Christ Whatever circumstances we face, we can praise God for his amazing grace. Our hope isn't found in what we have done, but in what Jesus has done for us. And this redemption isn't something we keep to ourselves. God is longing to redeem people, and he calls us to join his mission by sharing the good news of Jesus with those around us and praying for people who have yet to hear the gospel.
