Knowing Him | Ephesians 1:15-23

As we continue our series “Building a Loving Community in Christ,” we explore what it means to truly know God. In Ephesians 1 v15–23, Paul prays that the believers in Ephesus would receive “the spirit of wisdom and revelation” so that they may know Him better. This message explores the heart of Paul's prayer and the invitation for each of us to draw closer to God — not simply knowing about Him, but knowing His character, His goodness, His love and His presence. In this message, we look at: Knowing God — discovering the heart and character of who God is His grace and compassion — God is compassionate, gracious, slow to anger and abounding in love and faithfulness The hope of His calling — knowing the hope God has called us to The greatness of His power — the same power that raised Christ from the dead Putting Jesus at the centre — allowing Him to transform our lives, our churches and our communities Making God known — reflecting His character and presence wherever He places us Paul's prayer challenges us with a simple but profound question: Have you asked God to help you know Him? Wherever you are in your journey with Jesus, God invites you to draw closer to Him. He wants to make Himself known.
