CIBS Pucallpa | Turning Cacao Waste into EUDR Compliance in the Peruvian Amazon

CIBS Pucallpa is a modular bio-refinery and digital traceability system for cacao farmers in Ucayali, Peruvian Amazon. We buy 100% of the cacao biomass that is normally discarded in the field and upcycle it into biochar and premium bioactives. At the same time, our offline-first app EYWA captures WGS-84 plot polygons in areas without cellular coverage, issuing an immutable digital passport that proves deforestation-free origin under EU Regulation 2023/1115 (EUDR). Impact target: +35% net household income for 600 Shipibo-Konibo and Asháninka families, 50 local youth trained as "Bio-Gestores 4.0", and 50 tCO₂eq permanently removed per year per pyrolysis module. Developed by ARS LAB S.A.C. (Peru), co-designed with ORAU under FPIC protocol, and supported by ProInnóvate (Project EINCUS-1-P-233-26). Note: this is a concept walkthrough (animated).
