Pink Friday is Coming!

The Main Street Matters webinar welcomes Samantha Conner of The Boutique Hub to talk about Pink Friday. This is a nationwide event held on the Friday before Black Friday (November 20th this year) to encourage people to shop at their local retail stores before visiting big-box and chain stores. Pink Friday highlights the value of community, urging shoppers to invest in the vibrancy and diversity of their local economies before turning to big-box retailers. Samantha joins the webinar to talk about what Pink Friday is, how to sign up, and how your store and your community can participate. This year, The Boutique Hub is also holding a special fundraiser for Heart on Main Street to go along with Pink Friday! For every store that registers, The Boutique Hub will donate $1 to Heart on Main Street to help assist retailers affected by natural disasters
