I'll be checking out the 8 Sound Engines in One with Tonic Synth by Rubens Fellicio on iOS/MAC Tonic Synth — AUv3 is a multi-engine synthesizer from RSJB, available as a standalone app and AUv3 instrument or effect for iPhone, iPad, and Mac. Stack up to three layers per sound, each with its own source, filter, envelope, and modulation. Engines include physical modeling (string, modal, wind, bowed), virtual analog, 3D wavetables up to 128 frames, 6-operator FM with .syx import, and a SoundFont player for .sf2 and .sf3. Draw or record wavetables, morph layers with a Vector pad, and shape them through analog-modeled filters with drive and 4x oversampling. An arp and sequencer add ties, ratchets, probability, and MIDI pattern import. The effects rack covers chorus, delay, FDN reverb, EQ, compressor, flanger/phaser, plus scenes for live patch changes. The Tonica community lets you audition and publish presets in-app. Perfect for studio and stage in AUM, Logic Pro, GarageBand, or standalone use. How To App on iOS.
