I Knew All the Words | Christian Bluegrass | Rugged Mercy

You can know every hymn and still need the gospel to reach your heart. “I Knew All the Words” is a Christian bluegrass song from Rugged Mercy about growing up around the gospel, mistaking familiarity for faith, and learning to surrender to Jesus Christ. “I had been raised around the gospel. Now the gospel’s raising me.” For anyone who grew up singing in church and later realized that knowing the words isn't the same as trusting the Savior. This song follows the move from inherited religious habits to personal faith, repentance, and a life shaped by God's Word. Which line stayed with you? Tell us in the comments.
