The Journey (A Pilgrim’s Song) | Original Christian Song by Sarah Cole

The Journey (A Pilgrim’s Song) began as a poem about the Christian walk. Some roads are smooth. Others are narrow, rocky, and difficult to see. There are mountains to climb, valleys to cross, obstacles along the way, and moments when we simply need to stop and seek the LORD. But the journey isn’t about having an easy road. It’s about continuing to follow Jesus. We don’t always know what waits around the next bend. We may stumble, grow weary, or find ourselves facing a road we never expected to travel. But we keep walking. Not because we know every step ahead, but because we know the One we are following. And one glorious day, the eastern sky will open! Proverbs 3:5–6 (KJV) “Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.” May this song encourage you to keep your eyes upon Jesus, remain faithful, and continue walking the path He has set before you.
