Qadiri Dhikr in Pakistan | پھر دل میں مرے آئی | Shaykh ʿAbd al-Qadir al-Jilani (Fully Translated)

A Dhikr gathering of the Qadiriyya Order in Peshawar, Pakistan. This took place during Rabi' al-Akhir in 2016. They are Murids of Pir Sayyid Amir Shah al-Jilani, who was a great Saint and scholar of Peshawar. He was descended from a line of illustrious Saints from the line of Shaykh ʿAbd al-Qadir al-Jilani. The first ancestor of His to move to the Indian subcontinent was Sayyid Abdullah Shah al-Ashhabi, who was known as 'the Companion' due to the amount He would see the Prophet ﷺ awake. He passed away in the city of Thatta, Sindh and his descendants moved north, firstly to Lahore, then to Kashmir and Peshawar. This line of Sayyids has produced many great Awliyah and scholars.
