Kalam of Pir Meher Ali Shah | Naseema Qasidana | Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan (with English Translation)

A Qawwali sung by Ustad Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, with the poetry written by Qibla Alam, Pir Meher Ali Shah Sahib (1859 - 1937), the first Master of Golra Sharif. This video is dedicated to him, and the release of this coincides with the Gregorian Urs (passing anniversary) of Pir Meher Ali Shah. This Kalam is written in the Shahmurkhi dialect of Punjabi. In my opinion, this is one of the most beautiful and masterful Qawwalis to ever come from Nusrat, and one of the most under-appreciated ones. I first heard this in August, 2025, when my uncle, who is a Murid of Golra Sharif, played this as we were returning from the Maqam of Sayyid Jalal ad-Din al-Bukhari in Uch Sharif, Pakistan. May Allah be most pleased with our Master and raise his rank always. May this work be accepted by Hadrat.
