Definite and Indefinite articles in German accusative case are different than the nominative case in German language. A1 level German language course lesson 16 explains the definite and indefinite articles in German accusative case. Since every German noun has a gender and also one article is assigned to each German noun. Articles in German language depends on the gender of noun at one hand and the case in which they are being used. Definite and Indefinite articles in German language are following. If the gender of noun in German language is masculine, the definite article will be "den". If the gender of noun in German language is feminine, the definite article will be "die". If the gender of noun in German language is neuter the definite article will be "das". If the gender of noun in German language is masculine, the indefinite article will be "einen". If the gender of noun in German language is masculine, the definite article will be "eine". If the gender of noun in German language is masculine, the definite article will be "ein". So there will be only one change for the masculine noun with respect of nominative case in German language so that the definite article in German accusative case will change from der to den. Similarly the indefinite article in German accusative will change from ein to einen with respect to the nominative case in German language.
