Adjective Endings in German accusative case (Adjektivendungen Akkusativ) with definite and indefinite articles is explained with examples in lesson 19 of German language course A1 level for beginners. Adjectives describe a property or feature of some person or a noun. Since person and nouns in German language have a gender therefore the adjectives associated with a person or a noun has a different ending for different genders.
Adjective Endings in German accusative case depends on 2 factors.
1. The case in which the adjective is being used in German language
2. The gender of noun in German language
Therefore, adjective endings in German accusative case differ from the adjective endings in German nominative case.
Similarly the adjective ending in German accusative case of masculine noun will differ from the adjective ending of feminine and neuter nouns.
If the gender of noun is masculine and we use the adjective with the definite article in accusative case, then the definite articles in German accusative case will be "den" and the adjective will receive an ending "-en". So the adjective "nett" will become "den netten"
If the gender of noun is feminine and we use the adjective with the definite article in accusative case, then the definite articles in German accusative case will be "die" and the adjective will receive an ending "-e". So the adjective "nett" will become "die nette"
If the gender of noun is neuter and we use the adjective with the definite article in accusative case, then the definite articles in German accusative case will be "das" and the adjective will receive an ending "-e". So the adjective "nett" will become "das nette"
If the gender of noun is masculine and we use the adjective with the indefinite article in accusative case, then the indefinite articles in German accusative case will be "einen" and the adjective will receive an ending "-en". So the adjective "nett" will become "einen netten"
If the gender of noun is feminine and we use the adjective with the indefinite article in accusative case, then the indefinite articles in German accusative case will be "eine" and the adjective will receive an ending "-e". So the adjective "nett" will become "eine nette"
If the gender of noun is neuter and we use the adjective with the indefinite article in accusative case, then the indefinite articles in German accusative case will be "ein" and the adjective will receive an ending "-es". So the adjective "nett" will become "ein nettes"
