"Jumping Demons" (Extreme Demon) by Smarted | Geometry Dash 2.2

Smarted asked me if I wanted to showcase this level recently, and after seeing the unique and original hand-drawn art, I was quick to accept. The quality on display here definitely deserves all the attention it can get. Also, people have mentioned that it reminds them of "Kidsmoke", which is a great level I uploaded back in 2020. I praised it for its weird but unique art and animations, and I can definitely see the similarities in this level by Smarted. The various demons have a similar hand-drawn line art style with great animations, such as at 0:07 and 0:31. This level does have its own identity too, though. For example, the part at 0:41 features great structuring and some neat art in both the block design and background, which is also the case for the level as a whole. I also really like the usage of dual mode here. It's easy for a level with a theme like this to focus too much on the combination of red and grayscale, but I like how Smarted mixed in other colors, seen in both this dual part and also at 0:07 in the color splashes. You may notice that this video feels a bit blurry, and I thought this was something with the file at first, but it's actually intended. Smarted tried to recreate the feeling of playing on an old television, which is a really cool touch. This may make the already hard level a bit harder, though, but luckily you are able to switch to a clearer mode if you wish. All in all, this is a well-deserved Epic Extreme Demon, and I'll be looking out for future Smarted works! ★ Become a Member of my channel for special perks: https://www.youtube.com/viprin/join VIDEO INFORMATION Recorded by ‪@smartedgd‬ Game (version): Geometry Dash (2.2) Level: "Jumping Demons" by Smarted ID: 117061407 Music: "Jumping Devil" by The Living Tombstone    • The Living Tombstone - Jumping Devil - Mus...   LINKS Discord:   / discord   Twitch:   / viprin   Twitter:   / vipringd   Thumbnail by Erdyuri:   / erdyuri
