A Pearl from Barossa, c1964

Launched in November of 1956, Barossa Pearl changed the Australian wine industry. Developed by Colin Gramp of Orlando and based on the German style of perlwein, the light, delicate, fruity sparkling wine with a clean, lingering finish was a huge success.
