A quick tour of uMake’s 3D editor: where the views, the panels and the tools live. In this video: 1. On the left are Undo, Redo and, at the bottom, the view menu. One tap jumps to Top, Front or an iso view. 2. Scroll the list to show or hide lines, dimensions and the grid, and to pick your units, from millimeters to feet. Settings holds the lens, from orthographic to perspective, and the grid. 3. Your panels open on the right: Design Partner builds and edits with you, AI opens the AI tools for images and textures, Add brings in models, textures and materials, Layers keeps things in order, and Render sets the light and the look. 4. Up top, Orbit turns the view, and Tool switches between Precision, Pen and Freestyle. Tap the design’s name to rename or duplicate it. Share saves an image or a 3D file. 5. Tap an object, or double-tap a line or surface, and the selection bar shows what you can do with it. The tools you use most come first. 6. Slides turns your views into a deck you can play. That’s the whole editor: views on the left, panels on the right, tools up top. uMake is a 3D design app for iPad, iPhone and Mac.
