The Complete Story of Matthew in the Bible | From Despised Man to Apostle

Matthew sat at a tax booth — despised by his own people, working for Rome, carrying a name that meant “gift of God” while living as if that name didn’t belong to him. Then Jesus walked by and said two words: Follow me. What happens next is one of the most overlooked transformation stories in the entire New Testament. This video traces Matthew’s full journey: from Levi the tax collector to apostle and author of the first Gospel — the one who connected Abraham, David, and Jesus in a single opening verse. We examine what his profession really meant in first-century Jewish society, why his calling was a social scandal, and how a man defined by his past became the writer who presented Jesus as the Messiah-King to the people who were waiting for exactly that. Matthew chapters 9 and 10, Mark chapter 2, Luke chapters 5 and 6, and Acts chapter 1 — all explored in depth. #BibleStudy #Matthew #GospelOfMatthew #JesusChrist #Apostles #Disciples #NewTestament #BibleHistory #WhoWasMatthew #TaxCollector #LeviAndMatthew #KingdomOfHeaven #MessiahKing #BiblicalTeaching #ChristianFaith #ScriptureStudy #BibleExplained #JesusCalled #FollowMe #BibleCharacters #NewTestamentStudy #GospelStudy #KingdomOfGod #BibleFacts #ChristianContent #ApostleMatthew #DiscipleshipLife #BiblicalHistory #OldTestamentFulfilled #SonOfDavid
