After exploring Ladakh, travelling from Leh to Srinagar by JKSRTC bus, spending a night in Drass and crossing Zoji La, I finally had one full day to experience Srinagar before continuing my journey back home. In this episode, I explore Srinagar in a day, visit the famous Shankaracharya Temple, enjoy the beautiful views of Dal Lake, make a quick stop at Nishat Garden (Mughal Garden), and share my real experience of getting around Srinagar using local transport. The next morning, I board the *Vande Bharat Express from Srinagar to Jammu* to experience its comfort, journey time, facilities and the spectacular railway route through Kashmir. My ticket cost ₹878, while reaching Srinagar Railway Station by auto turned out to be a surprisingly expensive part of the journey! From the beautiful landscapes of Kashmir to the scorching heat of Jammu, this journey marks the end of my Ladakh travel series.
