Would You Let You In? | Broken Pew

"Would You Let You In?" by Broken Pew. If we were an attendant at the gate of Heaven would we let ourselves in, or at least someone like us? Knowing our sinful life. No. We'd mess it up. Thank God for sending His Son Jesus Christ to save us from ourselves, if only we know we need Him to take away our sins. “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.” John 3:16-17 NKJV "Would You Let You In?" lyrics: [Verse 1] Imagine standing at heaven's gate, And someone comes along, They've lived a life just like your own, With everything you've done. You know their thoughts, you know their words, The secrets deep within. If heaven's yours to guard today, Would you let them in? [Chorus] Would you let you in? Knowing where you've been? Every selfish choice you've made, Every hidden sin. If nothing could be covered up, No excuses could begin, Knowing everything you know, Would you let you in? [Verse 2] You see the times you turned away, When someone needed care. The words you spoke behind their backs, The love you wouldn't share. The pride, the greed, the bitterness, The wrong you called alright. Would you bring all that to heaven, Where nothing spoils the light? [Chorus] Would you let you in? Knowing where you've been? Every selfish choice you've made, Every hidden sin. If nothing could be covered up, No excuses could begin, Knowing everything you know, Would you let you in? [Verse 3] We say we're good, compared to some, We've never been that bad. We count the things we've done quite well, Forget the thoughts we've had. But heaven isn't filled with those Who've earned the right to stay. For all have sinned and fallen short, And none can buy their way. [Bridge] But Jesus came to save the lost, He died and rose again. He offers mercy, calls us now To turn away from sin. Not just to say we know His name, Then carry on unchanged, But trust in Him and follow Him, Our hearts and lives transformed. [Final Chorus] Would you let you in? Knowing where you've been? I could never earn my place, Or wash away my sin. But Jesus offers mercy, And calls me to begin A life of faith, surrendered to Him, Made new from deep within. [Outro] So when I stand before God, He'll say “Come on in." Not because of who I am, But because He forgave my sin. #brokenpewmusic #jesuschrist #christiansong #christianmusic #free #worshipmusic #god #2026 #acousticworship
