Today I'm having pan-fried black tiger prawns and a som tam kung sod (mixed papaya salad with raw shrimp), seasoned with Pimrypie's pla ra. It looks so hot and spicy! I also added dried chilies, a bunch of tomatoes and of course, tamarind paste. This salad has 51 chilies!

These are black tiger prawns.
0:00:06
They're still frozen.
0:00:10
I'll thaw them in water.
0:00:14
The prawns won't be as fresh
if you just thaw them overnight.
0:00:19
So it's better to
thaw them in water.
0:00:23
1 kilo has 8 to 12 pieces.
0:00:26
They're quite big.
0:00:57
I'll make pan-fried butter
black tiger prawns.
0:01:01
Add butter in the pan
once it's hot.

0:02:03
Hello, everybody!
0:02:05
This is my first big
meal of the year.
0:02:09
I got black tiger prawns.
0:02:12
Here they are.
0:02:14
Eating these raw is not
as tasty because they get sticky.
0:02:18
For that, I prefer white shrimp instead.
0:02:23
Here, it's known as Vannamei.
0:02:30
They're so big.
0:02:32
1 kilogram is around 8-12 pieces.
0:02:35
Big and so yummy.
0:02:37
The texture is bouncy too.
0:02:41
Anyways, let's eat together!
0:02:42
I've got Vietnamese rice noodles.
0:02:45
These are thicker than Thai noodles.
0:02:49
I also have sweet peppers
and radishes.
0:02:52
Spring onions.
0:02:55
Anyways, let's get started!
0:02:58

here, only frozen ones.
0:06:26
So greasy.
0:06:43
Can I eat it in one bite?
0:06:55
I forgot.
0:07:08
It helps with the spiciness.
0:07:11
And it's so crispy.
0:07:23
The tam kung sod video has the most views.
0:07:40
I forgot about white popinac seed.
0:07:44
Oopsie daisy!
0:07:49
I bought them for 22 kroner,
or 110 baht.
0:07:53
Only 100 grams.
0:07:57
Why did I add so many shrimp?
0:08:06
Let's squeeze lemon juice on them.
0:08:09
To make it really sour.
0:08:15
Many said that the
rice noodles look quite thick.
0:08:37
It's still alive.
0:08:39
It's too fresh!
0:09:16
Maybe next time I forget the
papaya since I'm getting old.
0:09:23
I'm turning 51 this year.
0:09:29
As always, thank you for always
supporting me.
0:09:34

0:13:09
It's like I'm eating
in Bang Saen beach.
0:14:25
Today I had my favorite dish.
0:14:30
And many fans love it too.
0:14:32
Many of you said, "Yai,
maybe a Som Tam Kung Sod?"
0:14:35
And so we had it, though I try
not to eat it often.
0:14:39
I just ate it last year.
0:14:44
There are so many local dishes
that I want to share with you.
0:14:50
My boyfriend also likes Thai food.
0:14:52
Last year, he gained 30 kg.
0:14:56
So he doesn't want to be in the video.
0:14:57
And so far this year he's lost 3 kilos.
0:15:02
Sometimes I cook Thai dishes for him.
0:15:06
And for me, I usually switch between
Thai and Western food.
0:15:10
Anyways, that's it for today.
See you later.
0:15:12
Be blessed with wealth.
0:15:14
Bye-bye!
