The Integrated Charging Control Unit (ICCU) problem on Hyundai, Kia and Genesis electric vehicles, from NHTSA recall and complaint records (checked October 2026): March 2024 recalls (Hyundai/Genesis 24V-204, 99,055 vehicles; Kia 24V-200, 48,232) replaced in November 2024 by expanded recalls (Hyundai/Genesis 24V-868, 145,642 vehicles; Kia 24V-867, 62,872), for a total of about 208,500 vehicles, including the 2022-2024 Ioniq 5, 2023-2025 Ioniq 6, 2022-2024 Kia EV6, Genesis GV60, GV70 Electrified and G80 Electrified. Vehicles repaired under the first recall need the new remedy. The ICCU can be damaged and stop charging the 12-volt battery, which can cause a loss of drive power.
