Tonight on Beer and Gear, we're heading up to Flagstaff, Arizona, for a look at Mother Road Brewing Company's Limited Visibility Hazy IPA. At 62 IBUs, this one is pushing beyond my usual bitterness comfort zone. And hazy IPAs aren't necessarily my first choice. But does Limited Visibility have what it takes to win me over? We're pouring it into a Holland Walker glass and following it through a temperature progression, starting at 36°F and letting it warm all the way into the mid-60s. Along the way, we're looking at: 🍺 Appearance, colour, haze, and head retention 🍊 Citrus aromas, flavour development, and bitterness 🌡️ How temperature changes the mouthfeel and finish ⚖️ Whether 62 IBUs actually taste as bitter as the number suggests Does Limited Visibility deliver, or does it lose its way as it warms up? Pull up a chair, pour yourself something good, and join us for another honest, unscripted beer review. Support your local breweries. Drink local when you can. *Beer and Gear — Good beer, good gear, and good conversation.* #BeerAndGear #MotherRoadBrewing #LimitedVisibility #HazyIPA #CraftBeerReview
