It was an amazing event and a really big thing for Stoke. I also hung around here a lot during the early to late nineties. Ten years on, there wasn't a great deal of the Garden Festival left, twenty years on there was less. Now, thirty years after the National Garden Festival 1986, I want to give you a whistlestop, 30th Anniversary Tour. I may come back in another 30 years to see if there's anything left! I suspect by that time only the parkland will remain.
