Hello, this is Hidden Seoul. In this video, we walk through Wonhyoro 3-ga and the old residential streets near Yongmun Market in Yongsan, Seoul. The walk begins near Hyochang Park Station, passes through Yongmun Market, and continues toward the quiet alleys around Sacred Heart Girls’ Middle and High School. Established in 1948, Yongmun Market has served the local community for generations. Around the market, narrow alleys, small shops, and low-rise homes preserve the atmosphere of an older everyday Seoul. Sacred Heart Girls’ High School opened in Wonhyoro in 1960, and the surrounding streets still carry the familiar scenery of a long-established school neighborhood. Although Yongsan is rapidly changing, these quiet streets continue to hold traces of local life and memories accumulated over many decades. Today, we quietly record an old neighborhood behind a traditional market in central Seoul.
