The Power to Change | Part 2 | Jesus Makes All Things New | Pastor Chris Swett

In “The Power to Change – Part 2,” Pastor Chris Swett continues this message of transformation with 2 Corinthians 5:17: “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.” Change is still possible. It doesn't matter how old you are, how long you've struggled, how deeply rooted the problem seems, or how impossible the situation looks. Through Jesus Christ, there is still power for genuine transformation. But this message isn't only for the lost. Pastor Swett challenges the church to recognize that every believer still has areas that God wants to change. We should never become satisfied or complacent with where we are spiritually. God desires to continually transform our minds, our hearts, our character, our conversations, and our lives until we become more like Jesus. We are called to present ourselves as living sacrifices and refuse to be conformed to this world. Instead, we are to be transformed through the renewing of our minds. The evidence of being in Christ isn't simply something we say—it should become visible in the way we live. Jesus doesn't just forgive us and leave us where He found us. He changes us. This message also confronts the lies of the enemy that say: “You'll never change.” “Your best days are behind you.” “You'll never get victory.” “Nothing is going to get better.” Stop listening to the preacher of lies and start listening to the Word of God. Pastor Swett points to blind Bartimaeus, who heard that Jesus was passing by and refused to remain silent. He used what God had given him, cried out to Jesus in faith, and did not leave the presence of Christ the same way he entered it. His faith was stronger than his weakness. Whatever area of your life needs transformation, bring it honestly before God. There is a place in His presence where chains can be broken, lives can be restored, and old things can become new. There is no limitation with God. THE POWER TO CHANGE is still found in Jesus Christ.
