Today I'm learning Why Don’t You Say So featuring Avery Anna — and this might genuinely be my new favourite Moonrocks song. This is SO good! It's in Drop D and has that classic Dexter and The Moonrocks guitar sound, with a brilliant guitar part, big power chords and loads of great rhythm throughout. Then Avery Anna comes in from the second verse and adds a completely different dimension to the song. Their voices work so well together and it turns into such a great collaboration. What a song! In this video, we cover: • Drop D tuning • The main guitar part • The power chord shapes • The different chord progressions • The rhythm guitar parts • How the sections develop • Avery Anna's section from the second verse • How to put the whole song together • A full guitar playthrough at the end I've covered quite a few Dexter and The Moonrocks songs on the channel now, but this one might have jumped straight to the top of the list. What a collaboration! And make sure you stick around for the full playthrough at the end. 🎸 Patreon:   / guitarpush   🎸 GuitarPush.com: https://www.guitarpush.com 🎸 Strumming Course: https://tinyurl.com/how-to-strum I'm a guitarist, author and teacher sharing what I've learned along the way.
