Rondebosch to Rosebank Cape Town walking tour. A 4K walk of about an hour from Rondebosch Station along Main Road Rondebosch, through Lovers Walk and the tree-lined Japonica Walk under Devil's Peak, past the Summer House (Belvedere) and the University of Cape Town's Middle and Lower Campus, to Rosebank Station. UCT is ranked first in Africa by several 2026 rankings, and this walk follows the leafy Southern Suburbs streets around it. Silent 4K walk with binaural sound. On the Middle Campus the route passes the Summer House, built by the Dutch East India Company, and the Woolsack, where Rudyard Kipling's family spent the summers of 1900 to 1907.
