In this video, Jono teaches you how to do a Waltz Jump off-ice. This is a very important figure skating jump to learn. This is the same take off as for the axel jump. If you can't do a good strong waltz jump (or 3 Jump as it is known in the UK) then you will really struggle to nail an Axel Jump when you start working on it. Going through this jump as a part of your off-ice training routine is key if you aim to be a good singles skater. It's surprising what amazing improvements can be made thanks to practising key off ice exercises that aim to improve specific aspects of your figure skating!
