Exploring Lauterbrunnen in the Rain | Switzerland Travel Vlog Lauterbrunnen is often described as one of the most beautiful valleys in Switzerland! Even in the rain, it absolutely lives up to the reputation. In this video, we explore the village of Lauterbrunnen, admire the incredible Staubbach Falls, take the mountain route up to Mürren, and attempt (unsuccessfully 😅) to reach Allmendhubel. It rained almost all day, which meant plenty of time in cozy cafés, convenient stores (very convenient in Switzerland!), and slowing down to really take in the atmosphere. Despite the weather, Lauterbrunnen has a peaceful, almost magical feeling. Towering cliffs, waterfalls everywhere, alpine villages, and dramatic mountain views, it’s easy to see why this valley inspired fantasy landscapes in film and literature.
