The catalysed cars gave up six of them. ▌ Gerard Welter drew it — and the FIA approved it for both Group N and Group A. ▌ The snap lift-off oversteer everyone talks about is a genuine chassis trait rather than a fault. It has still caught out a lot of drivers and claimed a lot of cars. ▌ The specials are where it gets strange: Miami Blue and Sorrento Green in 1989, the Griffe at 1,652 cars, and a 1FM built for BBC Radio 1 in 1992 — twenty-five of them. ▌ Buying one is a rust hunt (inner wings, sills, floors, sunroof surround, boot, rear-beam mounts) and a fake hunt: clocked cars and 1.6 shells wearing 1.9 badges are common, so check the engine against the plates.
