The Field & Forest Railway 8th Birthday Bash Gala Day 3 2026

Join The Field & Forest Garden Railway in celebrating their 8th birthday of operation. On 25th August 2018, the railway opened and operated full services. A lot has changed and expanded since then but the passion continues on. For the whole week, the railway saw a range of services with both freight & passenger along with a huge range of different locos operating and captured over a 3 day period. Today is the third day of the event, in which.. yes you guessed it Hummy does his thing with the tankers before the American Baldwin begins with passeneger services...although not for long because unfortunatley the main drive worm gear then failed while trying to haul the 3 coach consist up the steep incline. Therefore BP Lil Critter No.23 was dispatched to rescue the stranded train and help take over passenger services along with Steeple Cab Loco E.1. Before BP No.23 then hauls it's original train of BP tankers and cabooses. Rouding out the day again would be not just 1 but 2 trams with Hamburg Tram No.701 and Blackpool Open Tram Coach being towed by Steeple Cab E.1.
