Autumn has arrived in our quiet mountain village. Walking along the peaceful areca paths, I found the ground covered with fallen wild Oroxylum flowers (hoa núc nác). After gently gathering the petals and harvesting the tender green pods from tall tree branches, I headed home to prepare a comforting countryside meal. Today's village menu: 🌸 Delicate wild flower petals stuffed with seasoned minced pork, farm scallions, shallots, and fresh eggs, then slowly simmered over the hearth. 🥗 Ancient forest pods charred directly over wood coals, sliced thinly and tossed with fresh herbs, hand-crushed roasted peanuts from the stone mortar. In the late afternoon, walking into the quiet forest with my dog to gather firewood as dusk settles over the mountains brings complete peace to the soul. 🌿✨ 00:00 Gathering wild fallen flowers & harvesting tree pods 02:27 Prepping petals & kindling the wood fire 07:05 Chopping herbs & making savory pork filling 10:11 Stuffing wild flower rolls & simmering 12:20 Roasting peanuts & prepping charred pod salad 16:42 A cozy countryside family dinner 17:25 Heading deep into the woods for dry firewood 👉 Subscribe to experience daily village routines with me:    / @tamsvillageroutine   #villagelife #countryside #slowliving #villagecooking #traditionalfood #foraging #woodfirecooking #vietnam #asmrcooking #peacefulroutine #autumnroutine
