Progressive overload isn't adding weight to the bar every week. It's five dials, and most people have only ever touched one, which is why you stopped growing somewhere around month four. Your body solved your workout. Same sets, same dumbbells since March, so it reads the message, files it, and does nothing, because muscle is expensive and your body would rather not pay for it.
The five dials are reps, weight, sets, range of motion and tempo, and density. One of them is completely free and almost nobody mentions it. I also go through double progression with real numbers, the 12 percent jump between dumbbell pairs that quietly stalls people for a month, why your memory of last week's lifts is lying to you, and the point where backing off beats pushing harder.

Tell me which lift has been stuck at the same weight the longest for you, I want to see how bad it is. Subscribe if you'd rather have the training advice that works than the stuff that just sounds good.
